We are a small and dynamic network that has been meeting regularly. My dream is to accomplish the translation of the book into Greek and run workshops using the Doughnut tool in Greek municipalities.

I am a sustainable development planner, trained as an architect and in human settlement planning issues. I lead the policy studies and development action initiatives at the Development Alternatives Group. My work over three decades has focused on sustainable housing and habitat in human settlements, community based approaches to climate and disaster resilience and support to national, sub-national and local government governments in mainstreaming integrated planning for achieving Agenda 2030 and the Paris Agreement in India. My current work in habitat planning now increasingly addresses the concern of Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) systems through resource efficiency, circular economy and equity concerns in resource access. My research interest and expertise lies in the area of resource efficient and people-nature centric development planning. Using social and ecological systems approaches for resilience building in human settlements.

I am working as an sustainability researcher on urban sustainability and climate change for a project in Pune titled making Pune a Sustainably Smart city by 2030. Here we are exploring the various tools to make the city not only smart through the use of technological innovations but also looking at the social and environmental aspects of the city along with climate change impacts.

I work in climate change communications and policy at the University of Leeds in the UK. I'm involved with two funded projects: the Place-Based Climate Action Network (PCAN) and the UK Climate Resilience Programme. My work is very action-oriented and includes trialling a new collaborative form of governance involving place-based partnerships, bringing together the public, private and civic sectors. I'm very involved in sustainability where I live, too, and am a member of One Planet York as well as York Environment Forum and York Green Party.
