I am a life-long learner. From a early background in computer systems, which gave me a whole-systems lens through which to approach the rest of my life, I've been an educator, author, artist, Transition movement trainer/contributor (since 2008), Permaculture instructor/designer, group facilitator, complementary currency designer, researcher, parent, grandparent. I love seeing through multiple lenses and points-of-view. I guess you could say I am a Whole-Systems, Biomimicry, "DANCING ON MY LEARNING EDGES" explorer ... contributing, connecting, and loving, with joy.

I am a mother of three, live in the Finger Lakes region of NYS and am a volunteer in our local Mothers Out Front (citizens' environmental advocacy group) chapter.

I am Felipe Fonseca, a Brazilian activist and free/open advocate turned researcher, working on the OpenDoTT project and living currently in Berlin, Germany. In the last fifteen years I was a co-founder and leader of a number of community and networking initiatives dedicated to critical thinking (and making) in the crossroads between culture, science, technology and society. I have an MA in Science Diffusion from Labjor at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in Brazil, acquired with a dissertation about networked experimental labs.
