Who suffers in this world and why is this happening? has been my leading question from childhood on. To be part of the solution, I went through lots of educations and experiences - using my empathic condition as well as my analytic skills and hands, able to treat, repair and hug. I'm tired of talking-groups now, looking for grounded action. Let's cooperate and make ends meet!

Game changer: My vision is an economy that has a clear focus on the future. My contribution to this is working with companies on their future viability: the result is organizations that are capable of change, have intrinsically motivated employees, who organize themselves and have a clear focus on customers, the market and the environment. Success takes place on the levels of cooperation, positioning and of course in the financial area. Only those who are successful can carry change into the world.

Holding 2 university degrees in design and engineering my motivation since then is to create balance between nature and technology. The technology itself is neutral, it's the approach of humans can be used in a healing or destroying way. Nature stands for its own while humans try to "escape" into an artificial environment for various reasons. Studying kybernetics intensively and knowing about feedback effects that occur within every system my understanding right now is that there exist no action that doesn't cause a reaction later on. Every interference with nature will cause new challenges for humans, mostly time-delayed. To change things for good I founded several companies with partners and friends to create real impact and realize futureous visions, that show sustainable solutions for a further living in harmony. We've been focussing a lot on emission free mobility, but expanded our vision now on nature education, plant-based nutrition, farming, physical training in nature ...

Hello! Olá! I am a firm believer in the Doughnut Economics - as a good rogue economist!! I have two children and I really do want Economic thinking and acting to change, to see a clean, fair, just and sustainable World for them to grow and thrive in! Utopia? I am interested in rural food poverty in "rich countries" and how we can wiggle out of it using the Doughnut! I also believe that children are our future, and we should strive to include "doughnuts" in our children's education, as early and as often as possible. So, if you can, please HELP!

Hi, I'm German. In 2014 I got inspired by permaculture as a design tool in which all my very different interests are taken into account. Currently I am in training as a permaculture designer at the Permakultur-Akademie in Germany and do network support for Permakultur-Institut e.V. in Germany (permakultur.de) in particular with regard to its membership in ECOLISE, the European Network for community-led initiatives on climate change and sustainability (ecolise.eu). Since 2016 I am involved in the PratoParadisoProject at Lake Orta. I also incorporate my knowledge from many years of working in tax and finance.

My name is Simona, originated from the personal name Simon, itself a derivative of the Hebrew name "Sim'on," from the verb "sama" meaning "to listen." and still on the way to achieve the wisdom flowing from deep, still listening. Yes, I finally confess, I am believer dreamer. My motto is “Don’t’ keep calm, go change the world”. My favourite quote is: “Only those who attempt the Absurd will achieve the Impossible” – Albert Einstein I have been part of what I learnt to define as the “social wave for change” since the high school, participating actively, since then, in more than 20 different organizations, political and social grassroots movements, nonformal groups, think thanks and study groups, mainly in Europe. I developed my professional attitudes around the active living of the eternal transformative dynamics, thriving throughout dreams and actions for change.

My background is as a Community Connector. I'm now using my community work and creative skills to focus on the climate emergency while we can still make a difference. I've always been moved by the idea of a fair economic system and Donut Economics is a brilliant accessible model - bring on climate justice!

Hi Hi I am nearly 70 years old. In my youth I studied for a degree and Masters degree in Economics and an MBA in Finance but was never convinced by economic theory. It seemed to me just a licence for greed. I spent my working life as a lecturer and manager in the Further Education sector. In later life I became interested in Ayurveda (the traditional medicine system of India) and studied for, and completed a degree in Ayurveda in London. I have been part of a spiritual community called Ridhwan for the last 10 or more years, am a supporter of extinction rebellion and have been very impacted by the work of Jem Bendell on Deep Adaptation. I am now retired and spend lots of time in my garden but am also a trustee of a spiritual site in Glastonbury England, a Director of a spiritually focused organisation, and a Director of an eco focused organisation. I am married with three daughters and two grand daughters and am very concerned about their future.

I'm a sustainability consultant, artist and activist working in the field of climate change. My family and I have just moved to Portugal permanently and I'm learning the language properly (albeit without much practice yet due to covid!). I continue to volunteer for several organisations in the UK, all of which I've been part of for many years - The National Federation of Parks and Green Spaces, Green Tides (the Adur and Worthing green spaces partnership) and Worthing Climate Action Network. Over the years, I've been campaigning, marching and coordinating action to halt the loss of our living world and the climate emergency. As we settle into our new life, with a travelling forest soon (hopefully) to be released back into the wild, I'm looking to learn about the environmental and sustainability movement in Portugal and what local factors influence decision-makers and create change.
