Born in Zaragoza, Spain, and educated in the French lycée, I grew up in an open environment focused on the transmission of human values, deeply connected to nature. Having learned several languages, I decided to continue my studies with a degree in political science at Sciences Po that would allow me to better understand how the world works in order to improve it. Majoring in economics and sociology, I came from France to Portugal in the last year of my degree, and after an internship as a researcher at Value Flow laboratory I am going back to Paris to study a master's degree in Governance of ecological transitions of European cities. I hope to continue working for many years to regenerate the connections between nature and people, building fairer and more respectful cities and societies.

I am an Economics student at the University of Minho, motivated by issues such as climate change, economic inequality and a new social contract for the 21st century. I was born in Brazil, but moved to Portugal at the age of 16. During high school, I was a member of the Fridays for Future movement, helping to organize studentes climate strikes in my city of Braga, Portugal. This experience motivated me to study more about climate change and other social problems. I am, currently, an undergrduate Economics student at the University of Minho, but my interests are also in the fields of cognitive science and law.

Every problem is an opportunity. If you create the right mindset you'll see it this way too. I like an environment where strategic thinking, fast-paced organizations, data-driven, and analytical reasoning, creativity, and curiosity are required.

Fun, fearless, award-winning. Better systems make better people, better people make better organisations, better organisations make better cities, and better cities make a better world. Therefore, Can we co-design and implement ecosystems that create opportunities for people to collaborate better? Yes, we can. Inspired by initiatives such as Doughnut Economics, I am developing a collaborative city ecosystem.

Hello! To make a long experience, short: I lived 5 years in China where I completely questioned our conditioning (I have an MBA) as Westerners, our beliefs, our priorities and the whole economic and financial system in particular. And the human culture (I hold a Certificate in Psychosocial Intervention) ... My studies and research led me to create DOT - Dare Other Things. A training that I give so that we can really Dare Other Things in our professional lives. I look forward to talking with you, and meeting you! MJ
