A rather small Spaniard truly believing in the myriad possibilities for meaningful transformation hidden behind the current (for some, apocalyptic) times, if only we do the right thing. Mechanical engineer with a strong vocation for social/humanistic fields turned a Systems Thinker, I am currently looking at ways to combine a bunch of disciplines (Systems Thinking, Systems Innovation, Complexity, Circular Economy, Biomimicry, Engineering, etc.) towards the creation of renewed systems at the service and for the creation of thriving communities.

With a backgorund in anthropology, work in social enterprise and leadership education I am exploring what we must un-unlearn and which new stories we need to write and enact in order to live in harmony with each other and the earth. As a community weaver and facilitator I am hosting a peer to peer learning journey exploring the question: How can we live in reciprocity with the wider web of life?

My work focuses on research, policy & innovations with the potential to equitably transform the future of health in emerging cities. Through my research at the University of Cambridge, I identify interventions and leverage points for promoting healthy development in Africa and the Caribbean. In an advisory role as the Principal of ERIM Consulting, I work with international organizations, the private sector and policymakers to design solutions to health challenges. Finally through my non-profit work at Engage Africa Foundation, I lead citizen driven engagement on putting health at the centre of development in order to prevent the rise of non-communicable diseases.

After having worked for 30 years in and for large and medium-sized companies, both in management and in consultancy, it is time to apply my knowledge and skills for donut economics. I am an experienced marketer, lean six sigma blackbelt, systemic change expert and manager. I have a clear vision of the ingredients needed to get groups 'on' for a different way of thinking and behaviour. and how to embed this into new routines. I was surprised when I discovered that the approach we adopt in our agency is almost 1:1 to the donut economics mindsets. That is why I am changing my own compass and am going to use it for companies and institutions and the city of Rotterdam.

For the last 20 years, I’ve built companies and communities in the SF Bay Area, bringing people together to discuss economics, art, technology, religion, politics and philosophy. In 2012, we started www.goodpeopledinners.com, a community that fosters substantive conversations on a wide range of topics, usually over food and drink. Our events bring together professional chefs and speakers from many backgrounds and disciplines. Thus far we’ve produced nearly 250 gatherings and counting. My first book manuscript, focused on Incentive System Design is currently under revision. ISD is thinking differently and comprehensively about how we shape our own and one anothers’ behaviors and designing systems that guide those behaviors in desired directions, particularly our choices as participants in an economy. ISD seeks to propagate greater human equality, restrained production and consumption, regeneration and equilibrium in natural systems at scale. www.ramanfrey.com

Elizabeth Soubelet, co-founder of Ma Bonne Etoile (www.squiz.co) and Board Member of B Lab France I'm originally from Austin, Texas. A trained midwife and mother of 5 children, I took a turning point in my life in 2014 when I decided to launch an entrepreneurial impact project with my life partner, Nicolas. Together, we created Ma Bonne Etoile with the goal of raising awareness and helping as many people as possible take concrete steps towards a waste-free AND fair future. Our first product, Squiz reusable food pouches, was a great success with French families looking for alternatives to the "single-use lifestyle". Ma Bonne Etoile was one of the first companies in France to be certified B Corp in 2015 and I am an elected member of the board of directors of the association that supports this movement locally, B Lab France.
