My journey of reflection has taken me through Transition towns, with Rob Hopkins very useful books using prefiguration to tell an alternative story and the sign posts therein, as to what a World could look like taking the Earth into account in all of our actions.  My background is in electronics as a technician and as a science graduate and business co-owner and co-founder. I was in an unusal position to explore the use of Stafford Beers Viable Systems model to gain ISO9001 2015 quality assurance recognition. Further reading in recent times has provided an insight into todays malaise.  I have become aware of trauma and its impact both at a personal and societal level and value the insights gained through the SAND community. I became aware of Kate's work on the doughnut economy through the "Flourish" podcasts along with Biomimicry in her contribution.
