Hello, I'm looking to connect with likeminded people to create a platform for PLANETARY PROFIT ECONOMY that paves the guidelines for an alternative to the EXTRACTIVE, CORPROFIT CAPITAL VS PLANETAR ECONOMY. If we do not go deep into the systemic roots of the economic culture that created the problems, we are dealing with the symptoms only that mask the real problem and feed the existing culture. Happy?! Earth Day Let's call for a Planetary State of Emergency and skeletal survival economy that sustains us and All with no extras. Tourism, Cruise ships, vacations. Planetary means ALL living and other planetary inhabitants.

Hi DEAL Community! I am a designer working with how participatory and metadesign practice can be applied in opening pathways for the transitioning of systems towards preferable futures that operate within the doughnut. My team at AFRY Experience Studios combines design futures and strategic foresight to explore scenarios that facilitate this transition. Our current focus is within impact financing that enable economics that are distributive and regenerative. We help clients create roadmaps to exnovate systems of degradation and innovate towards regenerative business practices.

My name is Khairul and I'm from Malaysia. I am an active advocate of "innovation literacy". By using innovation tools, the modern workforce and communities will be able to identify innovation opportunities - through problems that we face today; planetary boundaries included. I founded DT Leadership Sdn Bhd (www.dtleadership.my), a training & coaching firm focusing on innovation and leadership development as my advocacy platform. I help clients work on their innovation and leadership grand plan through training workshops, facilitation and coaching sessions. Doughnut Economics concept is something that I've been "ranting" about as a non-economist and laymen. But I don't know how to put them in words because I don't have to - since this book has done it really well. :)

I have worked in the private and public sector for the last 20 years. As such, I have had an opportunity to interact firsthand with the impact neoclassical economics has had on perpetrating the shortfalls in the social foundations as well as its impact on climate change which is one of the planetary boundaries that has been overshot. Interacting with the concept of doughnut economics has created the picture that I have been searching for which would be a solution for dealing with the current situation we find ourselves. On the basis of the above, I am working towards incorporating the doughnut economic approach in the consultancy services I offer to county governments and government agencies in Kenya, private sector and other organizations in the area of International Trade, Public Policy and Public Private Partnerships through a company that I founded - International Trade, Public Policy and Public Private Partnerships (IP5) Africa Consultants Limited. I am also incorporating the doughnut economic concept in agriculture and value addition through a company that I founded - Adaeze Organics Limited. In this regard, I am creating an organic herbs, fruits, vegetables and medicinal plants forest on 30 acres of land. Value addition on farm produce will be organic with zero waste. I am also working with the community in the area to address issues of food security and poverty.
