Hey y'all! I'm Misty, a long time activist / organizer based in metro-Atlanta, Georgia, USA. I'm a part of a coalition called the Life Reimagined Collaborative and we are creating the Game of Life Reimagined. Life Reimagined is a cooperative story-telling board game that parodies of the original game of Life. Players build a collective vision of a just and sustainable world on the timeline of the climate clock, because we're the only ones who can save us now. We are using Doughnut Economics as a board model in the game and would love to work with you to make this game happen! We want it to be a fun and useful tool for everyday people to learn, practice, and take action, doing what it takes to win. You can check out our short explainer post on instagram here, our longer pitch deck here, and you are invited to our coalition interest zoom meeting (register here) for the game on Thursday, February 13th, 2025, 8-9:30pm EST (New York City time). We are happy to meet with you one on one to discuss as this time doesn't work for all! Thanks for all you do to make a difference! Power to the People! [coalition zoom.jpg] [ ]

I'm a researcher interested in supporting transitions to social justice and ecological regeneration. I work with community groups, iwi, businesses and city councils to document and learn from the transitional work they are already doing. I also frequently work with a team of people at the Community Economies Institute, writing, researching and imagining postcapitalist economies. My training is in development studies and geography.

I am currently part of Cozinha Popular da Mouraria in Lisbon where I coordinate a community intervention to promote culturally sensitive healthy eating. As a project manager and researcher, I combine my background in architecture and urban planning with my passion for food, spaces, and social relationships. With a specialization in Design and Humanity , I am well-equipped to explore the intersection of design and social impact. My work is driven by a deep curiosity about how food can shape the built environment and vice versa, and I am committed to using my skills to create spaces and experiences that foster connection and community. Whether it's working on a large-scale development project or conducting research into the cultural and historical significance of food, I approach every challenge with creativity, empathy, and a collaborative spirit.

Father of 3 daughters actively seeking projects to get actively involved in that help to shift the dial in terms of addressing the existential risks we are facing. I love the whole concept of Doughnut Economics and have a sense this type of thinking is a big piece of the solution jigsaw. I want to be part of the solution - NOT the problem. I have particular expertise in Finance, Technology and project management. Happy to consider any project looking for someone with such skills or who can provide an external perspective.

Cycling the world to meet regenerative entrepeneurs! Now in Italy.
Hi Deal members, My name is Benjamin. I’m from France. Founder of a non profit organization called “Trees On The Way”. I’m cycling the world to meet positive impact / regenerative entrepreneurs in order to write a book and make a documentary. Active in favor of the living world since 2006 and a shift with the documentary called "An Inconvenient Truth", I have different experiences like working in EVs, helping organizing as a volunteer a "COP" for students, organizing climate workshops, ... Apart from that, I love travelling and being in nature, meeting new people, sharing great moments and discussions and sport (cycling of course but also tennis, hiking, …).

I am interested in exploring the possibilities of doughnout economics. I dream of a world where wellbeing and ecology are prioritised over GDP growth, and I would love to connect with likeminded people and communities. I have expertise in training and facilitation, research, writing and project management which I would like to put to good use in support of the doughnut economics action lab.

I work in The Trampery Poplar Works, is a partnership between Poplar HARCA, London College of Fashion, UAL and The Trampery. All three organisations have worked together to bring something unique to the space. We’ve been supported by the Mayor of London and are part of the Fashion District. The idea was to bring fashion back to its spiritual home in East London by building a hub that would help small businesses to grow and create employment in Poplar. We wanted East Londoners to benefit from the growth in the fashion industry taking place on their doorstep. Poplar Works was built on the site of under-used garages on the Aberfeldy and Teviot Estates in Poplar, utilising a difficult site to create much needed space for work and culture. And! I have a Ethical lingerie Brand, UMA Intimates that I created in Barcelona and now I'm bringing UMA to London!
