Breaking down silos with DE (2 of 2)
Connecting different parts of the economy (market, state and commons) to work together for change

(This is one of two sessions on this topic - view the other here)
The Doughnut and the ideas of Doughnut Economics (DE) have broad appeal.
The ideas are accessible so they appeal to communities. And the ideas are politically and scientifically credible so they appeal to those in the realms of politics, business and academia.
They are also holistic - connecting the social with the ecological, and the local with the global - so they attract holistic thinkers who like to think in systems and recognise the potential of the ideas to connect people in a place for change.
If you are interested in this potential - how the Doughnut and the ideas of Doughnut Economics - have been used, and can be used, to connect people from different parts of the economy (market, state and commons) to work together for change - then this session is for you.
Note that this is a peer-to-peer learning session.
In the session there will be space to share approaches we’re aware of, as well as any insights we’ve gathered, and questions that are most alive for us. And in the spirit of these peer-learning spaces is that there's no one expert and we're all here as learners. We will have something to contribute, whether that be to to listen, to reflect, to share your personal experience or to share some ideas. And whether you are new to the ideas or are an experienced practitioner, you are equally welcome.
Please use the link above to register and you'll receive a zoom link to join.
If you would know more about the session, or if you have any access requirements, please email Rob Shorter rob@doughnuteconomics.org, Communities & Art Lead at DEAL, who will be facilitating.
