We're inviting Glasgow residents to explore the thought-provoking ideas of Doughnut Economics and help build, draw and paint a multimedia community vision of 'what makes a Thriving Glasgow'. Hosted by the GALLANT and the City Portrait teams, this will be a fun and interactive activity for all ages!
Activities that will shape the Community Portrait of Glasgow will include:
This event is part of the ARCadia Festival of Ideas and the Bank Holiday Brunch: Building Healthy, Happy, Sustainable communities. A free day of informal talks, exhibitions, craft and more. If you would like to join the free lunch, please book a ticket on Eventbrite here. If you are not having lunch, please just drop in.
ARCadia Festival of Ideas is a two-week celebration of the opening of the ARC from 16-30 Sept. Featuring over 65 free, all-ages events hosted by UofG staff, students and community partners - from family days to movie nights, exhibitions & an outdoor ceilidh.
