CONTEXT ’26

CONTEXT ’26 invites you to discuss how we can communicate our way into that thriving, distributive future.

How do language, media and social structures shape our society? On June 10, 2026 the symposium CONTEXT ’26 brings together diverse perspectives from media, culture, education, and management to explore communication as a creative and transformative force.

  • Language & Opportunity: The social startup eloquio shares how innovative educational formats combine music and movement to foster language participation and self-confidence in youth.
  • Cultural Heritage as a Tool: Founders of the Freie Hip-Hop Institut (FHI), including local pioneer Toni-L and linguist Bryan Vit, discuss building the Heidelberg Hip-Hop Archive and using hip-hop culture as a toolkit for personal and societal change.
  • Future Impulses: Insights into entrepreneurship, education, and social innovation from guests like Sieer Angar and Tomke Jenssen.

The event features a dynamic mix of keynote talks, moderated dialogues, and interactive sessions designed to spark fresh ideas and collaborative thinking.
