📅 Monday, May 18, 2026
⏰ 3:00 PM – 3:45 PM CEST

In 2022, a group of scientists, economists, and policymakers launched an ambitious initiative: Earth4All. Using systems thinking, they explored how our global economy could evolve by 2050 and, more importantly, what actions are needed to ensure everyone can thrive within the limits of our planet.

In this session, we’ll dive into how these insights are brought to life in our textbook, focusing on two powerful future scenarios:
🔹 Too Little, Too Late – where delayed action leads to rising poverty, inequality, and ecological breakdown
🔹 The Giant Leap – where bold, coordinated action creates a fairer, more sustainable world

We’ll outline the five transformative shifts that make The Giant Leap possible:
✔️ Ending poverty
✔️ Reducing economic inequality
✔️ Achieving gender equality
✔️ Transforming food systems
✔️ Transitioning to clean energy

These transformations are deeply interconnected and when tackled together, they can reinforce each other to build a thriving future.

To our knowledge, Regenerative Economics for Secondary Schools is the first secondary school textbook to incorporate the Earth4All recommendations into its text and course syllabus.
