After three unforgettable summer gatherings, Emergent Generation is excited to invite you to our next annual event.
Join us for a three-day gathering at Conygree Farm in the Cotswolds that brings together young farmers, growers, advisers, entrepreneurs, researchers, policymakers, vets, chefs, artists, educators, campaigners, students, and the curious. All are welcome.
11-14 Septemer 2025.
This year, we’re digging into a vital issue. How can we reconnect town and country, farm and fork? How can we build understanding across rural and urban perspectives?
Check out this reel from last year's event to get an idea of what one of our events looks like..
At our first event at FarmED in 2022, Rob Shorter at DEAL led a workshop for participants to learn how the Doughnut Economics framework can help us to build a farming and food system to shape a fairer, greener, and more resilient future. For us, connection across the food system is key.
This year we believe we must focus on reconnecting town and country in order to help us in this mission.

The inspiring speakers & contributors that will help us with this are:
- Anna Jones - Journalist, Author of Divide, Founder of Just Farmers, and Educator. She will lead a series of workshops designed to develop our confidence in listening, storytelling and communication. Discover how to ask meaningful questions, build trust, and create space for honest conversation.
- Mallika Basu - Food writer, Educator and Adviser, who champions food as a force for good.
- Mary-Ann Ochota - Broadcaster, Writer and CPRE President. Join her talk: Exploring, People & Place.
- Silas Hedley-Laurence - Coach and Regenerative Farmer.
- Annie Landless - Farmer of Ampney Brook Farm.
- Eric Walters - Good Small Farms, Stroud.
- Mitch Green - Em Gen'r, Stockman and Facilitator.
- Magda Petford - Black Mountains College & Civic Square.
- Chauntelle Lewis - Founder, The Barefoot Planter.
- Karl Franklin - AKA The Pretend Farmer.
- Sinéad Fenton - Aweside Farm.
- Tom Pycraft - Groundswell DJ and nature-loving events producer.
- Tom Herbert - Founder, The Long Table
- Andy Rumming's Beef
- Abbey Home Farm - Cirencester
Our hosts, National Trust tenant farmers Jonty and Mel Brunyee invite you to Conygree Farm, their 180-acre organic, pasture-fed, and regenerative farm and market garden in the Cotswolds. We will gather in their wildflower meadows, giant tipi event space and threshing barn. You are encouraged to stay on site - camping and glamping options are available.
All are welcome at our events, we love to see faces old and new. You don't have to have big, bold ideas and we respect that everyone is at a different stage of their sustainable farming and food journey. By having conversations and sharing experiences, we grow together.
Tickets are £90 (standard), £145 (supporter) and include all talks, workshops, food, and travel to off-site visits over the three days. You just have you get yourself to Conygree Farm (or a station nearby where we can arrange lifts). We did have a number of supported tickets, but they went quickly.
We have a very limited number of bursary places, if you're keen to come along but cost is a barrier, please get in touch.
We also realise that travel costs, childcare and time out from work (particularly if you are self-employed) can be a barrier. We have a small pot that might help – just message us before you book.
Camping and glamping passes start £35.00 (camping) - £175 (luxury bell-tent).

We hope you can join us!
