Global Donut Day: London Festival (Past)

Series of workshops and talks as part of #GlobalDonutDay celebrating Doughnut Economics, hosted by LDEC

Location: Good Company Tap Cafe Regent's Place, 17-19 Triton Square London NW1 3BF

London needs an economy that provides for society's needs and operates within the limits of our planet. We need a new direction and bold new ideas to shape the future and want as many Londoners, from all backgrounds, to work with us.

To start, join the London Doughnut Economy Coalition and Impact on Urban Health on Monday 13th November at The Good Company for a day of workshops, activities and talks as part of

🌟 Explore "Doughnut Economics" principles with us.

🏙️ Help shape London's economic future.

🤝 Connect with like-minded changemakers.

At Global Doughnut Day London, the day will start with a link with our colleagues all over the world and we will join the activities facilitated by the Doughnut Economics Action Lab in virtual workshops.

We will then have an exciting lunch programme, including hearing from the C40's Thriving Cities Initiative in Glasgow and Barcelona and about the impact Toast and Change Please are delivering locally.

The afternoon will be given over to ideas for London with specific workshops to help us build a community portrait. Curated by London Undergrowth, these will provide an opportunity to go into some of the issues which impact our city and consider how we can respond.

In the evening, you will have the opportunity to join us in person as we tune in to the online Global Programme to hear from Kate Raworth and the principles of Doughnut Economics. We will close the evening hosting discussions with changemakers from all aspects of London life to come together to share ideas.

Feel free to attend any or all of these sessions; specify your choices on the registration form. No previous knowledge of Doughnut Economics is needed - we want to hear your stories, reflections, and ideas and explore together what we can create local action.

Food and drink will be provided throughout the day by Change Please and Toast Ale. This has been made possible by the support of Impact on Urban Health. Please know that the venue is wheelchair accessible. Please let us know about dietary requirements.

Be part of sustainable change, raise awareness, and foster collaborations! 🌱🌆
