We're in the final stages of creating a tool that applies the ideas of Doughnut Economics to business, focused on transforming the deep design of businesses in order to enable the bold actions required of business to help humanity move towards the Doughnut. Here’s a short summary of how we’re approaching the idea of enterprise design.
And with the creation of this tool, we're now keen to explore the role that DEAL groups and networks (self-organising, joinable groups applying the ideas of Doughnut Economics in their place) will play in the journey of engaging businesses around the world, such as convening and running workshops for groups of businesses of your place, and being able to charge for it, but not providing advice.
In this gathering Erinch Sahan, DEAL’s Business and Enterprise Lead, will provide an update on our plans and will invite you to think about how this could work in your context.
The gathering is for anyone already part of a group or network or anyone looking to create or join a group or network to apply the ideas of Doughnut Economics in their place. If you would like to join, please complete this registration form and we'll send you the zoom details.
Note that this event is repeated for both Asia and Americas time zones to enable people from across the world to participate. For details of all events in the series of gatherings, visit the events page.
