Innovation Greets Sustainability: Global Donut Days x Riga Technical Univ.

Competence-building webinar series for universities and partners: integrating Doughnut and social innovations

Science and Innovation Centre at Riga Technical University (Latvia) invites lecturers, researchers, industry and municipal cooperation partners, and students to participate in a two-day online training on sustainability and innovation, “Innovation Greets Sustainability: RTU x Global Donut Days.” The event will take place on October 15–16, and the working language will be English.

 

These training sessions focus on a multifaceted understanding of sustainability and its practical application through the lens of social innovation and the Doughnut model. This is an opportunity to:

✅ Get acquainted with the versatile, accessible, and practically applicable sustainability model – the Doughnut of social and planetary boundaries, which is gaining popularity worldwide.
✅ Gain insights from international experts who already use the Doughnut model in education, strategy development, and sustainability assessment.
✅ Learn practical methods for integrating sustainability into both study content and university development.
✅ Receive an RTU-certified participation certificate equivalent to 10 academic hours.
