We are all part of the planetary system and things we do can help us find achieving a balance within the planetary boundaries. Nobody can do this alone, but small contributions from all of us can make a big difference.
It will take years to get all the fossil fuel CO2 released to the atmosphere back into solid phase again, so we better start right now. The tool is the photosynthesis made by plants and every space that can support this process will be a valuable contribution.
That is why you could start with filling your windows with plants, at least enough to partly compensate for the CO2 that you yourself are breathing out every day.
