Join us at Carrow House for a hands-on workshop where we will explore new ways to approach challenges facing our community by drawing on the city's radical past and re-imagining its future. This workshop is part of the wider Global Donut Day festival, celebrating local action and global connection.
This time in history is challenging all our expectations so it is also the perfect moment to reimagine what Norwich can be, and the economic system that is the forked highway to either more injustice or inclusive wellbeing.
We will start with some inspiration from the radical history of Norwich, then use the Doughnut model to map this moment in time and place.
Our lenses for mapping will be the Local, the Global, the Social and the Environmental. We’ll ask: what are we powering ahead with in Norwich? What is missing that we need to spark up?
We’ll finish by travelling 30 years into the future and imagining how people will describe this moment of change.
Together, we will explore the Doughnut model and imagine innovative solutions to create a more sustainable and equitable city. Don't miss this opportunity to make a real impact and connect with like-minded individuals.
Location: Carrow House, 301 Kings st. , Norwich, NR1 2TG
Time: 3-4:30pm
Audience: All welcome!
Get inspired, connect with others and become part of the movement. No matter how big or small your contribution is, you’re welcome to join!
