    How do I become an admin of a group or network?

    Only members of the DEAL Team can currently assign admin permissions to members of local groups and networks on the DEAL Community Platform.

    If you would like to be an admin for a particular group or network, please reach out via the DEAL Contact Form and select the 'Local Groups & Networks' category.

    How do I edit a group or network's profile?

    1. Ensure you are logged in as an admin
    2. Open the group or network's profile page, which you can find via the Local Groups & Networks index.
    3. Click the 'Edit' button (only visible to admins)
    4. You will see a form that allows you to edit the following information:
      1. Name
      2. Location (used to display on interactive maps)
      3. Description
      4. Contact information
    5. When you have made your updates, click the 'Update Network' button

    How do I post a tool/story/event on behalf of a group or network?

    1. Ensure you are logged in as an admin
    2. Go to post a new tool, story or event like you normally would when posting as an individual
    3. After filing out the form as usual, click on 'Are you posting on behalf of someone else?' to expand it
    4. Select the group or network you are posting on behalf of
    5. Publish the tool, story or event as usual
    6. Your name will now be replaced with the group or network's name wherever the tool/story/event byline is displayed
