Board Member, Doughnut Economics Advocates New Zealand (DEANZ). We are a New Zealand based Doughnut Economics advocacy group for people wanting to be involved in the fight against climate change, environmental degradation, and social imbalance. DEANZ members are committed to working towards a sustainable ecological and cultural future by putting the concept of Doughnut Economics into action. DEANZ holds regular Meetups with inspiring speakers on Doughnut Economics topics. The projects our members are involved with are continually expanding: revitalising the Repair Café movement in New Zealand; establishing Urban Composting and Community Gardens; building a free online healthy eating recipes database. As the Project Manager for Repair Cafes Wendy is passionate about revitalising the Repair Cafe movement in New Zealand, post covid. Wendy’s background includes a BA, M. Comm, a long career in advertising and marketing and winning a Telstra Australian Business Women's award.
