Doughnut Economics About DEAL DEAL Team Careers FAQ Principles & Guidelines Wider Movement Contact UsI was introduced to Kate's DE book just as I finished writing a book of my own. They seem wonderfully complementary in perspective and recommendations. My ideas on the macro level may seem strikingly different. (make it possible for everyone to be enterprising and anyone who wants to to be entrepreneurial) but I detail on the micro level how we can cultivate people's innate capacity to take initiative and be resourceful in all aspects of their lives. I'm hoping to find out from other members of this community whether my ideas really do seem complementary and how they might be improved. My background includes work in community organizing, higher education, and continuing medical education, as well as fostering initiative in the workplace and healthcare. I've worked to help people in a variety of settings enhance the skills they use to improve whatever they are part of.
