Roland Karthaus

I'm Director of an Architecture practice called Matter, Associate Professor at the University of East London and Trustee of Forest Community Land Trust. I work across scales and subject areas, aiming to contribute to systemic change using design skills, including via the Design Council. I'm a natural collaborator and thrive in shared creative environments. My best work has been 'research in action' projects that seek to both understand and change things at the same time and are engaging with health, wellbeing, equity and justice.
