Doughnut Economics About DEAL News & Updates Meet the DEAL Team Careers FAQ Wider Movement Contact UsHi. It's great to be a part of this community. I'm looking forward to sharing a proposal and action steps in due course, which relate to sustainable and regenerative housing options using the principles of Doughnut Economics and Permaculture.
A little about me ... essentially, I'm an educator, facilitator and 'joiner of dots' who enjoys connecting people and ideas. I'm an Agricultural Economist, who like Kate Raworth, have always been disillusioned with the narrowness and inaccuracies of classical Economics, choosing as my career, teaching and personal development using the outdoors as a medium for learning. I have a Graduate Diploma in Education and more recently a Master of Disaster Resilience and Sustainable Development. I am passionate about the effectiveness of LISTENING, as the key QI (soft) skill of the 21st century; LISTENING to the other, not to respond but to understand and then maybe to respond, LISTENING with respect in order to FIND NEW GROUND.
