What up!
My name is Blaine Bailey, and am the Executive Director of a nonprofit, In the Weeds, based out of Southwest Colorado, USA. We provide support in any and all aspects to Restaurant and Hospitality staff. I was a Chef for many years which led to a detrimental decline in my mental and physical health. Once noticing this within myself and so much around me with my peers, I decided it was time to get support of my own, which led to the discovery that there was few and far between resources for us. That is why a close friend and I started our organization, In the Weeds. At In the Weeds, we know that it takes an entire community to support each other. That within our industry locally means: individual, employer, and clientele (patrons of organization). We then like to think on the global level and what it means to be able to take care of much more. In order to save the world, you must start with the individual and work outward.
