Doughnut Economics About DEAL News & Updates Meet the DEAL Team Careers FAQ Wider Movement Contact UsFor the last 20 years, I’ve built companies and communities in the SF Bay Area, bringing people together to discuss economics, art, technology, religion, politics and philosophy.
In 2012, we started www.goodpeopledinners.com, a community that fosters substantive conversations on a wide range of topics, usually over food and drink. Our events bring together professional chefs and speakers from many backgrounds and disciplines. Thus far we’ve produced nearly 250 gatherings and counting.
My first book manuscript, focused on Incentive System Design is currently under revision.
ISD is thinking differently and comprehensively about how we shape our own and one anothers’ behaviors and designing systems that guide those behaviors in desired directions, particularly our choices as participants in an economy. ISD seeks to propagate greater human equality, restrained production and consumption, regeneration and equilibrium in natural systems at scale.
