I'm a Development professional with over 15 years’ experience working in both the philanthropic sector and in direct implementation including a specific focus on developing and delivering solutions to drive financial inclusion in emerging markets. I spent a long time looking at development solutions from a single sectoral lens and about 6 years ago began to get into looking more closely at multi-sectoral interventions. Reading "Doughnut Economics" was an "Aha" for me about thinking about the outstanding need for an integrated view of economics that puts the individual at the center yet with a recognition for the need to connect intentionally to the implications on climate change. I now work on these sorts of solutions in communities who experience the first wave of climatic shocks and are working towards building resilient livelihoods in the face of those shocks.
