Doughnut Economics About DEAL DEAL Team Careers FAQ Principles & Guidelines Wider Movement Contact UsAloha from Honolulu! I'm Kamal Kapadia, co-founder of Terra.do, an online climate change school and community. We run a 12-week climate “bootcamp” that attracts a diverse group of mid-career professionals from all around the world. Our program is focused on transitioning skilled people into impactful climate “work” that can utilize their skills. We are currently developing a suite of more specialized climate-related program offerings for professional communities (architects, planners, software engineers, investors, journalists, etc.).
We are HUGE fans of Doughnut Economics and teach about it in our core program. So many of our fellows find it inspiring and want to learn more!
About me: Am originally from India, got my start eons ago doing solar-based rural electrification work in India, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Then I got various degrees, spent some time as a research fellow at the Environmental Change Institute at Oxford, and now live in Hawaii with my family.
