Doughnut Economics About DEAL DEAL Team Careers FAQ Principles & Guidelines Wider Movement Contact UsI work in The Trampery Poplar Works, is a partnership between Poplar HARCA, London College of Fashion, UAL and The Trampery. All three organisations have worked together to bring something unique to the space. We’ve been supported by the Mayor of London and are part of the Fashion District.
The idea was to bring fashion back to its spiritual home in East London by building a hub that would help small businesses to grow and create employment in Poplar. We wanted East Londoners to benefit from the growth in the fashion industry taking place on their doorstep. Poplar Works was built on the site of under-used garages on the Aberfeldy and Teviot Estates in Poplar, utilising a difficult site to create much needed space for work and culture.
And! I have a Ethical lingerie Brand, UMA Intimates that I created in Barcelona and now I'm bringing UMA to London!
