After a career as an economist and regulator, I switched sectors in 2009 to pursue a long-standing interest in international development. I worked briefly on strategy at Save the Children UK and then became Deputy CEO at VSO. Now a member of the Board established by Oxfam to oversee its Enterprise Development Programme, I combine this with not for profits work based in the UK. I was involved in the governance of Newnham College, Cambridge for a number of years; and am currently Chair of The Barnes Fund, a local grant-making trust that also runs sheltered housing; and a Board member at a large social enterprise, The London Early Years Foundation. I blog occasionally at http://jabble.london
I have loved Doughnut Economics ever since coming across it in a blog written before the book was published, and am passionate about averting climate change.
