Doughnut Economics About DEAL News & Updates Meet the DEAL Team Careers FAQ Wider Movement Contact UsHi, I´m a consultant in sustainable development and I have been working with sustainability issues for more than 30 years. I hope to be able to share my knowledge, get new knowledge an insights, new contacts and networks. Comming from natural science and technology, the last 15 years I´ve learned more and more about the connections between ecology, energy, economics and social aspects of sustainability. Since I´m also a Rebirther I´m interested in inner development.
During the last two years I´ve tried to start a national peoples education programme here in Sweden. My input to the programme is a number of "elephants in the room", which I believe stop us from creating a sustainable development. The biggest "elephant" is probably the strong correlation between energy use, production/consumption/(GDP) and climate- and environmental impact. We do not want to see this correlation since we do not want to reduce our production/consumption, which would be the case if we reduced the production/use of fossil fuels.
Here is a video where I present twelve "elephants in the room", in Swedish. Pleace contact me if you want me to give you a short summary in English.

I see an urgent need for regenerating our ecosystems: forests, agricultural land and coastal areas.
I´ve met Kate Raworth at least once, in Stockholm, in the research project www.bortombnptillvaxt.se (Beyond GDP growth) in 2014-2018. I think The Doughnut is a brilliant concept and I´ve suggested that Kate should have the Nobel Prize in Economics.
