Mac Lemann
I am a Quaker and I had the realization several years ago that economics, more than politics, is where Friends should be focusing our energy in order to make actual positive change in the world. I shared this thought with a Friend on Instagram and a week or two later she sent me a link to Kate R’s interview with Baratunde Thurston. I was so thrilled to learn that I’m not the only one thinking about shaping an economy that works for people and the planet and that I’m not the only one who is just getting started with it in my 40s.
I’m listening to the “7 Ways…” audiobook through my local library and hoping to learn some tools to apply with the Religious Society of Friends.
