Natalia Tsuyama is a public policy specialist at the Undersecretariat of Women's Policy for the State of Minas Gerais and an environmental advocate for the Cerrado. Since 2023, she has been a young leader of the Feminist Coalition for Climate Justice of the Generation Equality Forum by UN Women. She is currently serving as the Co-facilitator of the Environment, Climate Justice, and Just Energy Transition Working Group in the C20, the G20's Civil Society Engagement Group. Additionally, she is a national advisor for the T20, the G20's Think Tanks Engagement Group.
With an international trajectory, she has also been a Young Leader in the Sustainable Lifestyles and Education Program of the United Nations One Planet Network, a Member of the Global Youth Movement for Water, a GYCAF Youth Committee member, and has participated in various national and international leadership and sustainability programs, such as the UPG Sustainability Leaders by United People Global and the Global Youth Climate Network’s 2022 Max Thabiso Edkins (MTE) Climate Ambassador Program. She has also attended international conferences, such as the UN Water Conference in 2023, the Annual Meeting of Curators of the Global Shapers in 2022 and 2023, the FAO Regional Leaders Meeting for Latin America and the Caribbean in 2024, and the Commission on the Status of Women - 68CSW in 2024 as part of the Brazilian delegation.
