Allow me to introduce myself: I’m Ushma Issar, founder of Rypple, a "health-ing" ecosystem hub based in the Netherlands, focused on transforming healthcare through proactive health measures. Rypple's mission is to make 'health-ing' easy for all by shaping ecosystems that incentivize proactive well-being, driving a fundamental shift in how healthcare systems operate.
Within our Health-ing Policy Action Lab, we are adapting the carbon tax model from the energy sector to healthcare. This innovative approach aims to create incentives that prioritize preventive measures over curative services, fostering an environment where healthcare organizations are evaluated and rewarded based on their impact on health promotion. We are collaborating with a consortium of local NGOs and a UK university to develop pilot projects that validate this model using a microsimulation framework to assess health outcomes based on fiscal policy changes.
We are actively seeking funding opportunities to support our ongoing projects and advance our mission of prioritizing preventive care in healthcare systems. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss our work in more detail and explore how we might collaborate.
