Leo Hajducki is a curator, artist, and advocate for accessibility and social and environmental justice in the arts. Currently pursuing an Mlitt in Curatorial Practice in Contemporary Art at the University of Glasgow and Glasgow School of Art, Leo combines their background in philosophy and politics with an interdisciplinary approach to create inclusive and transformative cultural experiences.
Their practice is rooted in a focus on multisensory, interdisciplinary approaches that prioritize accessibility and inclusion. Leo’s largest project to date, Synaesthesia at Summerhall (2023), showcased the work of 21 neurodivergent artists and invited audiences on a sensory journey through neurodivergence, sensory overload, and stimming. The exhibition featured a series of immersive rooms, blending eerie soundscapes, projected visuals, mixed-media art, and interactive sensory elements.
By challenging the boundaries of traditional curatorial spaces, Leo’s work centres typically marginalised voices and fosters meaningful engagement. Their approach aligns with the principles of Doughnut Economics, as they strive to create equitable, accessible, and regenerative systems in the arts and beyond.
