FIX is a social enterprise with more than 100 employees. FIX's main goal is to build a quality life through work for people looking for their way in the labour market. It consists of 2 departments:
FIX work experience:
Renovates schools, youth, culture and sports infrastructure all over the Brussels Region. The works are carried out by low-skilled, long-term jobseekers on temporary work experience contracts, thus increasing their chances on the regular labour market.
FIX regular:
Akoestiekfabriek: production and installation of circular acoustic panels. All profits are invested in sustainable job creation for people seeking their way into the labour market. We don't have shareholders. With Akoestiekfabriek we tackle the environmental challenges (by reusing raw materials to produce our panels), the societal challenges (by creating sustainable and qualitative jobs for lowly-skilled jobseekers) and a big health problem (noise pollution is the second biggest threat to European citizens, according to WHO).
