I am a post doctoral research associate based within the School of Law with over 15 years’ experience working in environmental consenting and planning. I have detailed working knowledge of environmental regulation across UK nations and across both terrestrial and marine spaces.
My research explores spatial justice, environmental law and public participation in environmental decision making. My research experience has provided her with an in-depth understanding of the importance of lawscapes for contextualising spatial decisions. My research focuses on coastal and marine regulation.
I am increasingly moving into the post-growth space, specifically looking at spatial regulation and how to incentivise resilient development in non-monetary ways.
