I'm a South African who was transplanted in Ireland 8 years ago. I'm still trying to put down a proper root system and adapt to the different climate! Who turned the sun down? I have 2 young kids and worry a lot about their future. I have made a commitment to doing as much as I possibly can to raise awareness of and help implement more regenerative ways of living on our Earth. Our communities will be our lifeboats going forward and they will need to be resilient, self-sustaining and well-prepared. Community preparation and community led change is where it's at for me. Tools like the Doughnut are so valuable for illustrating where we're at and helping us strategise a way forward - the Doughnut is simple, accessible and packs a powerful punch!
