I have been involved in sustainability, politics and education since the 1980's.
More recently, I am a student of Modern Monetary Theory and now Doughnut Economics. I see these disciplines as natural allies.
My work in recent years involves helping individuals and organisations have better conversations to find a way forward in an increasingly complex world where simple solutions are almost always unhelpful.
The main processes I use are:
- Navigating Difficult Conversations,
- Overcoming Immunity To Change,
- WIAL Action Learning, and
- Polarity Management.
I am also a software developer and a student of Stephen Batchelor's secular approach to Buddhism.
All those aspects of myself converge in a desire to leave the world in a better place than I found it, hence my interest in the DEAL Community.
