Rob Hawkes

In am an interdisciplinary academic researcher whose 'home' discipline is English literary studies but whose work draws on wide-ranging interests in areas including heterodox economics, sociology, and politics, among others. My current research projects focus on experimental literature, money, and the concept of trust, and on reimaging community credit creation in terms that prioritise social inclusion and ecological sustainability. I am a member of the Money on the Left editoral collective and I am interested in exploring how inclusive, democratic, and creative approaches to monetary design can advance intersectional ecosocial justice.
