I am particularly interested in environmental economics, and if and how green economies can thrive, be that through innovative currencies, or smooth renewable energy being integrated into grids on a greater scale. This is what brought be to Doughnut Economics, which branched out my interests to the other end of the spectrum - basic human needs not being met. I want to go into my economics degree with the right foundations to allow me to learn in the right way, and the book was the perfect start.
