I was born in the middle east but have lived in the U.S. since I was a teenager.
I've worked throughout the developing world on technology policy with telco operators, internet platform companies, and governments.
I did a short stint at the World Economic Forum were learned how to distinguish between a "think-tank" and "do-tank."
I left the WEF wanting to "do more and talk less," and co-founded a fintech company using blockchain to disrupt investment banking.
I subsequently learned what happens when a company grows faster than its available capital.
I've been doing freelance consulting for the past 18 months or so, mostly research and writing for the Economist Intelligence Unit.
