I am exploring how regional well-being and sustainable local economies can be regenerated through embodied experience, place-based value creation, and community participation. My work in rural Japan focuses on how people’s lived experiences, sensory engagement, and cultural narratives shape healthier, more resilient communities.
Doughnut Economics inspires me because it connects ecological limits with human flourishing, offering a practical framework that aligns with my research and fieldwork. I hope to learn from global practitioners, share insights from Japanese rural contexts, and co-create new models for nature-positive, community-driven development.
