Humanity Horizons is an indigenous, youth-centered Community-Based Organization (CBO) registered in Uganda in August 2024 (No. 80034487117857). We emerged from the dual crises of post-conflict trauma and climate vulnerability, committed to transforming adversity into agency. With 64% youth unemployment, 32% mental health challenges, and alarming rates of HIV/AIDS and maternal mortality among girls (UNFPA, 2021), Uganda’s next generation faces systemic barriers to opportunity.
We respond with purpose, Humanity Horizons equips secondary school students with climate literacy, entrepreneurial mindsets, and inclusive leadership skills positioning them as agents of change. Our programs are anchored in evidence-based, community-driven approaches that address critical issues such as deforestation, waste management, and food insecurity.
Through strategic partnerships with schools, communities, and government stakeholders, we co-create scalable, sustainable solutions aligned with the SDGs, Uganda’s Vision 2040, and the African Union’s Agenda 2063. Our flagship Annual Student Climate Summit amplifies youth voices, fosters innovation, and transforms classrooms into hubs of resilience and social enterprise. We invest in dignity, agency, and systems change—ensuring that young people are not just beneficiaries, but co-architects of a just, green, and inclusive future.
