John Uttley

I have a growing interest in making economics and finance serve people and nature. I work in NatureScot, Scotland's nature agency, helping to lead our work to achieve a nature-rich future for Scotland, with widespread adoption of nature-based solutions to climate change. I have a particular role in developing the role of private investment in natural capital working closely with colleagues in government, SEPA, Scottish Wildlife Trust and elsewhere.

I live in the beautiful, wild, culturally rich Shetland Islands.
