Hi I'm Richard. Coordinator of Cannock Chase Green Party. Currently feeding in to a project called Zero Carbon Rugeley (funded by an energy company) which seeks to imagine what a Zero Carbon Town will look like. It focuses on the closure of the coal fired power plant and solutions for a Smart Local Energy System (SLES), but also hopes to lead on retrofitting buildings, better transport, economic regeneration etc. Hopefully the idea and solutions proposed will be scaleable and transferable to other areas.
