I have a diverse background ranging from molecular biology to national security to AI/Digital Automation to Biomimicry. My focus is generally around strategy, business models, and innovation. I have a BS in Cell and Molecular Biology, an MS in Biomimicry. As well as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, PMP, and AZ-900 certificates. I will be getting my Biomimicry Professional certification in 2021.
The easy answer to how I came here would the the Doughnut Economics book, right? The longer answer would be I came here through my passion for biomimicry and innovation. Once I learned more about circularity, and Kate Raworth's work in particular, I was immediately drawn to the new way of looking at not just economics, but also how companies and governments can take action. Specifically, I find the approach of asking why very appealing. Why does an economy exist? What is it for? We create economies, why not create them to optimize flourishing all around.
