Helena Birecki

I have long been disturbed by the fixation of economists and politicians of measuring everything by money-- an ever-more imaginary substance which you can't eat, drink, or breathe-- so when I read Doughnut Economics, it felt right, exciting, and hopeful. I volunteer with the San Francisco Climate Emergency Coalition and other local group; I work as a Pilates/movement teacher; and I love to dance.
