After completing her Ph.D. in Environmental Economics, Marielle Savard worked as a Professor in a Faculty of Business in the USA. With a team of volunteers, she organized two Conferences related to ecological building and permaculture and contributed to the creation of a sustainable living program. She received prizes from the Iowa Chapter of Sierra Club US and from the American Lung Association.
She also worked as Faculty Lecturer at McGill, taught in China and Algeria. She worked for international organizations, for governments and for the private sector. As a volunteer, she has reviewed articles for the scientific journal Ecological Economics. She has used environmental, social and economic indicators to assess performance. She is now the Founding President of ResidenConsult offering Corporate Social Responsibility Services to Assisted-Living Residences.
