Hans Eickhoff

I am a surgeon with a PhD in Health Sciences and an activist. Born in a small rural town in Lower Saxony, I live in Portugal since 1990. I am father of 3 children between the ages of 3 and 25. I started my political activism in anti-nuclear and peace movements and in the Green Party in in the 1980's. I am member of the Degrowth Network in Portugal, the ATERRA campaign and the international network Stay Grounded that campaigns for the reduction of aviation and a just mobility system. I am co-founder of Coletivo Xis, a citizen movement for a just, egalitarian, inclusive and ecological society.
