Sérgio Pedro

Researcher at the Ecology and Society Lab (ECOSOC) of the Centre for Social Studies (CES) of the University of Coimbra. His thematic interest as a professional and citizen focuses on the transdisciplinary intersection of environmental sociology, public policy analysis & design, STS, human rights and social data science, through multidisciplinary methodologies oriented to the co-production of knowledge together with different social actors. Experience of specialized legal practice in Human Rights, project management, network coordination and academic research, at the national and international levels. He was Scientific Manager for Univ. Coimbra´s Strategic Area - Environment, Natural Resources and Agrifood; National Coordinator of FIAN Portugal, national section of FIAN International, international NGO for the Right to Adequate Food and Nutrition with UN consultative status.
